Batavi V1.2 Icecat available!

For all those who were waiting for the next generation open source e-commerce software....

We're very proud today to announce that as of december 2011, the 1.2. version of Batavi with built in free Open Icecat connection is available. Download here or read getting started instructions. As Batavi development team we were working for the last year to get all of your wishes into a stable product, which will help you to set up your own webshop, and will guarantee you a non-changing stable version. Of course we will be introducing bug fixes the next periods so you can expect new subversions on a regular basis.

For now, we are convinced that we are providing you with a version that can stand up to your demands and which is a big step into the next generation open source e-commerce systems. The following features are included into this version:

ICEcat PIM Now you have a webshop and need professional Product Information Management? If you don't have a centralized resource yet for Product Information Management (PIM, sometimes called PDM short for Product Data Management or CMS short for Catalog Management System), ICEcat provides its own web-based ICEcatPIM, which is able to handle millions of product data-sheets, uses the OpenICEcat XML standard and is easy to integrate with external sources.
